CiTY Special Needs Program Parents and Participants,
After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our CiTY Special Needs Program for Fall 2020. Our priority is always the health and safety of all participants, volunteers and families. Current social distancing and face covering requirements will be too restrictive to run a safe, fun and effective program this fall.
Although we are disappointed that we will not be able to hold our Special Needs Program this fall, we are exploring strategies that will allow participants to virtually connect with our CiTY volunteers. Interested participant should still register for the Special Needs Clinic so we can contact you with updates and additional program information.
Our Special Needs Program is a big part of our club and we look forward to having participants and volunteers safely return to the field. We will continue to monitor guidelines and requirements and will be patient and cautious in our approach to ensure that both participants and volunteers have a safe and fun environment.
We look forward to getting our Special Needs Program back onto the field soon. Be well and stay healthy!
Registered participants will enjoy a free 5-6 week soccer clinic specifically designed and adapted to fit age and ability level fun and energetic environment. Each participant will have a CiTY volunteer mentor during the clinic. Mentors will help players learn soccer skills and play in modified soccer games while having fun!
All players will receive a CiTY t-shirt. Participants should wear comfortable soccer clothing and bring a soccer ball, shin guards and water to each clinic. *Soccer balls are always available if needed.
VOLUNTEERS Needed-How to sign up?
Our Special Needs program would not be possible without our awesome volunteers! Adult and youth volunteers at least 9 years old are needed to make the program a success. Volunteers are needed for player mentoring, registration check-in and field set-up and break-down. All volunteers will receive instruction and guidance prior and during clinic.
